Ampere eSIM Terms and Conditions
1 INTRODUCTION
1.1. These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) govern the Ampere eSIM product supplied by Novo World Ltd (“Ampere”, “we”, “us”), including free and paid mobile data plans and use of the associated website and app (the “Services”).
1.2. Please read this Agreement before registering or ordering. You accept it through the registration or order process. The plan description shown before you confirm is part of your agreement and sets out the price, allowance, countries, validity and any specific restrictions. Specific plan details prevail over a conflicting general description in this Agreement.
1.3. The eSIM Privacy Policy explains personal data processing. Ampere financial products have separate terms and eligibility requirements. An eSIM account is not a payment account and does not require or guarantee acceptance for a financial account.
2 ABOUT US
2.1. Your contracting party is Novo World Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 13894648, at Meridien House, 42 Upper Berkeley Street, London, England, W1H 5QL.
2.2. For eSIM support, cancellations or complaints, contact [email protected]
3 WEBSITE AND APP
3.1. We allow you to use the website and app for accessing the Services under a personal, non-exclusive licence. App store rules may also apply. You receive no ownership of the software, brand or other intellectual property.
3.2. You must not interfere with the platform, distribute malicious code or copy or resell protected materials without permission, except where applicable law permits it.
4 REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT SECURITY
4.1. You must be at least 18 years old to register for and use the Services. You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
4.2. Protect your login credentials and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for use you authorise, but this does not exclude our responsibility for a security failure attributable to us.
4.3. We may reasonably verify information needed to operate your account and prevent misuse. Any request for additional information must be proportionate to its purpose.
5 ESIM AND THIRD PARTY PROVIDERS
5.1. An eSIM is a digital SIM profile installed on a compatible device. Our plans provide mobile data in the destinations stated in the plan description. Unless expressly included, they do not supply a telephone number, standard voice calls or SMS. Do not rely on this product for emergency communications.
5.2. Ampere is the reseller and your contractual counterparty for the Services; mobile connectivity itself is provided through independent eSIM platforms, network operators and technical partners (“Third Party Providers”). We do not control their mobile networks. Their involvement does not remove our contractual duties or your statutory rights against us.
5.3. Before ordering, check device compatibility, network unlocking requirements and destination coverage. Follow the installation and network settings instructions. You will need an internet connection for installation; your existing provider may charge for that connection.
5.4. Keep the eSIM profile installed while you need it. Deleting it can prevent reinstallation or recovery, depending on the profile. Contact support before deletion or a device transfer. Any material device or transfer restrictions will be disclosed before purchase.
6 DATA PLANS AND VALIDITY
6.1. Each offer shows its data allowance, eligible destinations, price where applicable and validity. A listed destination does not mean coverage at every location within it. “Global” coverage is limited to the countries shown for the selected plan.
6.2. Unless a plan expressly states otherwise, validity begins on first mobile data use on an eligible network. Unused allowance expires when the stated validity ends. Any deadline for activating an unused plan must be disclosed before you obtain it.
6.3. Purchasing a plan for a different country creates a separate eSIM. For the same country, purchasing an identical plan adds its data allowance to your existing plan, while purchasing a different plan places it in a queue for later activation. The applicable activation and validity conditions will be shown before you confirm your purchase.
6.4. Usage information may update with a delay. Background activity, tethering and streaming can consume data. Any tethering restrictions, speed limits or fair use limits must be displayed in the plan description before purchase.
7 FREE PLANS AND PROMOTIONS
7.1. We may offer a free introductory plan. Its allowance, validity and eligibility are those displayed when you claim it. A free allocation does not commit you to a paid plan or a financial account.
7.2. We may apply reasonable checks to prevent repeated claims or misuse of a one-time offer. Changes to future promotions do not retrospectively remove an allocation already validly granted, except where reasonably necessary to address fraud, breach or a legal requirement.
8 PRICES AND PAYMENT
8.1. Before you pay, we show the total price, currency and applicable taxes. A paid order is accepted when we confirm it and make the plan available. If we take payment but cannot fulfil the order, we will return that payment.
8.2. Your payment provider may apply its own currency conversion or payment charges, which are separate from the price we show.
8.3. We do not automatically renew a plan or charge for another purchase without your express agreement to a separately disclosed recurring payment arrangement.
9 SERVICE AVAILABILITY
9.1. We will use reasonable care and skill in providing the Services. Connection quality depends on network coverage, congestion, maintenance, local restrictions, device settings and other technical conditions. We do not guarantee continuous availability, a particular speed or operator, or reception at every location, unless expressly promised in the plan description.
9.2. We will take reasonable steps to address reported faults with our Third Party Providers. Keep an alternative means of communication for urgent needs.
9.3. If a network or legal change materially reduces an active paid plan, we will notify you where practicable and provide the remedy required by applicable law and, where appropriate, may offer an alternative service or a refund for the affected unused portion, without limiting any greater statutory entitlement.
10 ACCEPTABLE USE AND SUSPENSION
10.1. Do not use the Services unlawfully, interfere with networks, bypass security controls, resell access without permission or obtain promotional benefits through false or duplicate accounts.
10.2. We may proportionately suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, a material breach, a security risk or a legal requirement. We will explain the reason and any steps to restore access where lawful and practicable. Urgent action may be taken without advance notice.
10.3. If a breach can be remedied, we will normally give a reasonable opportunity to remedy it. Suspension does not automatically forfeit any refund or other remedy required by law.
11 CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
11.1. Consumers purchasing at a distance may cancel within 14 days after the contract is made, subject to applicable law and the rules on early supply below. To cancel, send us a clear statement identifying your name and order through the contact in section 2; no special form is required.
11.2. If you expressly request a service to begin during that period, a lawful proportionate charge may apply for service already supplied before cancellation. The cancellation right for a fully performed service ends only where the applicable requirements, including prior consent and acknowledgement, are met.
11.3. Subject to clauses 11.1 and 11.2, if you cancel an active eSIM plan, cancellation takes effect immediately and any unused data and remaining validity are lost. Payments for cancelled plans are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. This does not affect your statutory rights.
11.4. If a plan is faulty or not as described, contact support with the order details, location and device model. We may request reasonable troubleshooting. You retain any legal rights to restoration, replacement, price reduction or refund. A change of travel plans, consumed data or expiry does not itself create an additional discretionary refund right outside applicable law.
12 ACCOUNT CLOSURE AND TERMINATION
12.1. You can request account closure through support. Closure may remove access to active plans, so contact us first to address any unused paid allowance, pending refund or unresolved issue. Deletion and retention of personal data follow the Privacy Policy.
12.2. We may end the Agreement for a serious or unresolved breach or where legally required. If we discontinue the Services for commercial reasons, we will give reasonable notice and address any paid service we can no longer supply, including refunding the unused affected portion where appropriate.
12.3. Termination does not remove rights or obligations arising before termination, including statutory remedies.
13 LIABILITY
13.1. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
13.2. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of this Agreement or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable where it is an obvious result of the breach or was reasonably contemplated when the agreement was made.
13.3. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused solely by an incompatible device where requirements were clearly disclosed, incorrect settings, your existing operator’s charges or events beyond our reasonable control. This does not excuse a failure by us to meet our own duties or remove remedies for services not supplied.
13.4. For business use, to the extent permitted by law, we exclude loss of profit, business interruption and lost business opportunities. No exclusion in this section overrides clause 13.1.
14 CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
14.1. We may update these Terms for changes in law, security, technology or the Services. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes where practicable. Changes to future prices do not alter the price of a plan already purchased.
14.2. We will not retrospectively remove accrued rights. Where an unavoidable change materially disadvantages you under an active paid plan, you may contact us to end that affected service and seek an appropriate refund.
15 COMPLAINTS AND GOVERNING LAW
15.1. Send complaints to the contact in section 2, with your order reference and a description of the issue. We will investigate and explain our response and any applicable further complaint route.
15.2. The Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. This choice does not remove mandatory consumer protections in your country of habitual residence. You may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable consumer law.
15.3. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply where they can lawfully do so. Our failure to enforce a right immediately does not waive it.
